In quale ordine

Affrontarle in sequenza

Domanda 1 di 3 · A+ · Mobile devices and computer hardware

A laptop charges normally with its original USB-C adapter. On a compatible dock, data and video work, but the battery drains under load. The dock delivers less power than the laptop requires. Which change addresses the evidence with the least disruption?

Risposta e spiegazione

Risposta migliore: Use a supported dock or power arrangement with sufficient delivered wattage

The measured power shortfall explains discharge under load even though data and video work. Use a supported arrangement that meets the laptop power requirement.

Perché le altre opzioni sono meno adatte

Battery replacement is premature when the measured charging input is insufficient. Stable video does not indicate a graphics-driver fault; reducing refresh rate without checking the required and delivered wattage does not establish a supported charging arrangement.

USB-IF: power delivery

Domanda 2 di 3 · Security+ · Threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations

An internet-facing service has an actively exploited vulnerability. The vendor has no patch yet, but offers a documented workaround that blocks the known exploit path. Which action best reduces immediate risk without claiming the flaw is permanently fixed?

Risposta e spiegazione

Risposta migliore: Validate and apply the workaround, monitor it, and track the pending patch

A validated compensating control can reduce exposure while the permanent fix is pending. Retain the vulnerability record, residual risk, and a plan to apply and verify the patch.

Perché le altre opzioni sono meno adatte

Waiting leaves exposure unchanged, and a hostname change does not block the flaw. A workaround reduces risk without necessarily removing the vulnerability, so closing it as permanently fixed overstates the evidence.

CISA: known exploited vulnerabilities

Domanda 3 di 3 · A+ · Operational procedures

A user asks you to reset a slow laptop. Their only copy of an important folder is on its internal drive. What should you do before starting a potentially destructive reset?

Risposta e spiegazione

Risposta migliore: Back up the required files and verify that the backup can be read

Preserve the required data and verify the backup before a destructive operation. Confirm the destination and that the files open; an unverified backup is an assumption.

Perché le altre opzioni sono meno adatte

A reset can remove data before recovery is possible. A renamed folder remains on the same drive. Cloud sync must be checked rather than presumed to cover local files.
